We were merry, at New Year’s Day fete,
When king’s envoy arrived on his skates,
But this harbinger merry,
Thanks in most part to sherry,
Had forgotten what tale to relate.

Happy New Year, folks.

    1. I suspect Fandango pretty much chooses the words at random but year, it was an easy limerick today. The only difficult limerick words are those with many syllables, really, because you only have so many to play with.
Ironically, really “open” words can be difficult to write, too, just in terms of having a too-wide choice of things to write. But harbinger is quite tightly defined.
