inspired by Fandango’s One Word Challenge (FOWC) of 17 October 2022, ignore.
On my step ladder, fixing my door,
It said one hundred kilos, no more,
As I tightened the hinge,
Gave a creak, made me cringe,
And let’s just say, next day I felt sore.

I love OOFAH. It can be used in a myriad of ways. “Honey, you let the washing machine overflow again. OOFAH!”. “He missed the ball by a mile! OOFAH!”. “Did you see the body on that one? OOFAH!” “Vito just won the lottery! OOFAH!” “Hey, Uncle Mario fell off the ladder! OOFAH!” Ouch, meh; not so much. Get my drift? 🤣 🤣

Si!
Uffah is an onomatopoeic interjection in Italian that is supposed to resemble the sound of a person sighing, grumbling or huffing and puffing (sbuffare) with annoyance. People use it when they are irritated by something and want to get their frustration off their chest by letting out a breathy verbalisation. /ùf·fa/

Tripped over my own feet and bruised some ribs a while back, but about back to my old self—for what it’s worth. 🤪

I have some not-so-fond memories of hours spent in the ER as a boy. My mum used to readily reveal to people about the time I stuch raisins up my nose 🤣
