inspired by Fandango’s One Word Challenge (FOWC) of 24 September 2021, lecture.
Back when Hogwarts was once my abode,
One old teacher would drone on in code,
When he lectured for hours,
I impressed with my powers,
As I turned the guy into a toad.

One-third there. Frustrated, dealing with incompetence and idiocy at every turn, but plodding forward. Looks to be three or four munce before I can resume formerly normal activities. Thanks for asking. And your plans to “downsize”?

no movement here really. Got across to France – big milestone just because I have never travelled so far alone, but, man, I got so anxious… I was never like that before. Knowing that the stroke has left me a shadow of my former self, not just physically but mentally, is incredibly upsetting.

Okay I believe “shadow” physically but inclined to disbelieve “mentally.”

I used to just take everything in my stride. I was managing projects in NYC in my twenties, I used to commute 100 miles each way to work, now I am anxious 5 miles from home. The people I met had no empathy – sometimes I felt I just couldn’t and they thought I was messing them around.
I could see that in myself, it was scary because I hated it, but could not stop it.
