inspired by Fandango’s One Word Challenge (FOWC) of 2 April 2021, wordsmith.

A wordsmith who lived on ice cream,
Observed it inspired him to dream,
His most favoured tipple,
Was raspberry ripple,
Though he found Mint Choc Chip was a little extreme!

        1. Best scoop I ever had was Turkish Delight, but only ever tried it once, on vacation in Norfolk. Likes sundaes, you might get them there – cafe/chocolat liegeois (coffee or chocolate) or poire bel Helene (pear sorbet). I used to love the selection on sorbets in France, in the UK we only have a few flavours.

            1. Yeah, pear is so subtle.
I also enjoy pear cider now and again, in preference to the normal, apple. But… a hot weather drink, it will be a few months before I even whiff any.
Poire Belle Helrne contains pear )both tinned fruit and sorbet), vanilla ice, lots of (proper, dark) chocolate sauce. Yummy, huh?

        1. You might be surprised, they had ice roons long before refrigeration. Whether they ised them to store cream, who knows? Trouble is unless it is flavoured with something, it just tastes like cream!
