Observed it inspired him to dream,

Was raspberry ripple,
Though he found Mint Choc Chip was a little extreme!

Gelato is dreamy. Raspberry white chocolate, especially. Lecker!

Yes, it’s true, back home that’s my favorite flavor. What’s yours?

Best scoop I ever had was Turkish Delight, but only ever tried it once, on vacation in Norfolk. Likes sundaes, you might get them there – cafe/chocolat liegeois (coffee or chocolate) or poire bel Helene (pear sorbet). I used to love the selection on sorbets in France, in the UK we only have a few flavours.

I like pear flavored water ice. 😉

Yeah, pear is so subtle.
I also enjoy pear cider now and again, in preference to the normal, apple. But… a hot weather drink, it will be a few months before I even whiff any.
Poire Belle Helrne contains pear )both tinned fruit and sorbet), vanilla ice, lots of (proper, dark) chocolate sauce. Yummy, huh?

I wonder what Shakespeare’s work would have been like if he could have indulged in mint choc chip! Another wonderful limerick my friend! Happy Easter!

a nice refined flavour for a refined gentleman I see that. Mind you back them frozen cream was an impossible dream.

You might be surprised, they had ice roons long before refrigeration. Whether they ised them to store cream, who knows? Trouble is unless it is flavoured with something, it just tastes like cream!

I forgot about the ice rooms. As you say who knows what they made in those.
Cream on its own is horrible isn’t it? Needs at least a healthy does of sugar and vanilla.

You have me wanting to queue up at an ice cream van for a soft and creamy Mr Whippy, no sauce.
