Now we’re older, our bodies are creaking,
And our once-pristeen waterworks leaking,
Need a factory recall,
and complete overhaul,
Some relief from our ailments are seeking.

I am with you on that one. Who would have thought that life would one day be like this. I think my legs lost their connection to the body some time ago.

I make a point of getting out for this and that, but now the cold time has arrived and with our temps of 0°C I am staying at home and having my shopping delivered. I have even equipped myself with yeast if I have to bake my own bread. Snow is predicted for the rest of the week and that will not melt so quickly.
