The artist revealed new work with pride,
But the critic got rather tongue-tied,
‘Twas so bad, she was reeling,
But to spare the guy’s feeling,
She just stood there, her mouth open wide.

That was a hard one, this morning. Writing limericks about artists with crappy paintings always is; there aren’t many rhymes for the relevant words.
