Family fireworks on last Bonfire Night,
But ‘gainst wind, rain and sleet, had a fight,
Said to kiddies, “Don’t mock it”,
Revealed four foot long rocket,
But alas the damn thing wouldn’t light.
Bonfire Night in the UK is 5th November. Typical weather.
