inspired by Fandango’s One Word Challenge (FOWC) of 10 March 2022, infatuated.
When a zealous young hombre from Spain,
Found a new girl to love, he was slain,
Bought her trinkets and flowers,
With affection, he showered,
And she needed a court to restrain!

he he he!

the fine fine line between love and obsession. 🙂

It is something that I make fun of, because I try to make fun of most things, but it is seriously creepy. Just to keep going after someone after they have made it plain it’s not welcome… When the rational thought is to cut your losses.

It is creepy. But definitely not rational.

I suppose it is rational, but it seems clear that for these people, it is about control, rather than affection. Unless relationships are mutual, they’re not worth the effort.

It felf a bit better today but I was still squeezing like mad to get it all to fit into the syllables.

I can understand his infatuation. Have a little obsession of my own. 🙂

When I think of Latin Lover I think of Julio Inglesias “To all the Girls I have Loved before” 🙂 Love the beat to the song you posted. Great for dancing the merengue or rumba 🙂

hahaha! That’d be me getting restrained as I have no clue what I’m doing in courtship haha! Love this one!

Some of the Latin dances just have a lot more hip action to the beat and are quite simple. You just flow with the music.
Yeah, I guess Dirty dancing could come in if you let it. lol
