inspired by Fandango’s One Word Challenge (FOWC) of 4 March 2022, nasty.
The climber, Lord Grantham of Downton,
Had an accident climbing a mountain.
On the summit he stumbled,
A thousand feet tumbled,
Where hie blood spurted out like a fountain!
Sorry. Ultra-silly today. It’s Friday, what can I say?

I like Lord Grantham!

Do you reckon that was “nasty” enough?

Was that the aim? 😂

The prompt word was nasty, so I figured blood like a fountain would do it!

Sounds like quite a “tumble”… tell me was it red or blue?

ah yes, since a lord , one must perceive he saw it as blue.

He survived in order to muck around with Paddington Bear, I think.

Ouch. This reminds me of a documentary I saw. Guy breaks his leg at the top of a mountain, tumbles down, through an ice hole and into the caves beneath and he survives. Can’t remember what it’s called though 🙄

I recognise that story. I read the book. Long time ago. I can’t remember the name either but I remember it was in the Andes.
