I baked bread for the upcoming feast,
But it slipped from my memory, the yeast,
My original goal,
Had been perfect white rolls,
But they got some unleavened, at least.

I used to love Sourdough, but it doesn’t make much difference now. They all make my sugar spiral.

(sigh) Yes, I know. It’s best avoided. Mr M eats Biona Organic rye bread. It has 3.5g sugars/35g carbs but it’s not bread as we know it. It’s a dense loaf. Are you on tablets or injections?

I used to like rye bread, but basically, bread is bread. If I eat bread, it will be proper bread. Worthwhile bread. Like a good bagel. But the bread’s the treat.
I otherwise allow myself 2 pieces of Hovis cardboard crap per day.
Injections. They are the best thing, the only thing that ever gave me control.

P has been on tablets for nearly 30-years. He has more self-control than I could manage.

Brit Bump’s lim-rick today simply rocks.
Old men’s memory it laughingly knocks.
For me this ain’t news,
As putting on shoes,
Find that often I’m shoe-ing sans socks.
Good job, Bumper. Always grin, a smirk, a chuckle, now and then a tittering surprise. Never without admiration for your wordsmithery and clever turns.

It won’t surprise you then that I couldn’t even remember what I wrote!
