inspired by Fandango’s One Word Challenge (FOWC) of 22 December 2021, smooth.
Despite thick frost, he said, “what’s the fuss?”,
As he dashed from the house for his bus,
But his path, smoothed with ice,
Send him down in a trice,
And he’s now in the clinic, concussed.

Lucky! If he’d just slipped out quietly, they might’ve taken ages to find him.

Do you have Bitter over there? You must have. I used to drink lighter beer, bitter is kinda middleweight. Anyway, Tetley’s is a bitter. There is another product, a tea, which sounds the same. UK tea is not brilliant.

Ahh I love Yorkshire tea
Tetley is cheap tea here
I seem to recall Bitter and speaking of beers thereβs good beer and piss water beer in the US

I like that Bigelow tea I mentioned once, for a treat. But mostly I drink biodegradable bags. The important thing is the biodegradable.

yes. But I’m aware that every time I place an order for Bigelow’s, if’s a flight across the Atlantic. For tea. So there are ways in which we can all improve.

Absolutely and logistics wise itβs never gonna be 100% pure free carbon footprint but the more people strive to help reduce carbon emissions the better for the environment

well, it’s really post industrial revolution that emissions have taken off, so if we can get to that kind of level…

funny that is one of the first graphics I ever used on a post. I was going through them the other day and reminded myself… seemed ideal.

It’s funny because often searching for the graphic I have in my head can take longer than the post. Plus, of course, the ones that come closest often don’t have a suitable licence.

And I thought it was vice versa! Where do you find the graphics? They are spot on !

Pexels are generally good for photos and pixabay for clipart. Oh, and Deviant is superb for real art – the stuff that inspires the flashes.
iStockphoto and dreamtime are good sites too, but they are not only pay sites but bloody expensive, too, I feel. They might be appropriate if you’re doing something commercially, but not really personally.

also morguefile, but I tend not to use them. Plus, a lot of fine art is copyright-free.
