Mistaken

When I first went along to the Masons,
Gave the top man the secret handshake,
He retreated, inflamed,
And said “Oi, what’s your game?”
Then I realised there’d been some mistake.

  4. I was a Mason for some years, My lodge was affiliated with a very old Scottish Lodge, and when I was installed as Master of the lodge we had our normal semi-public installation. The Scottish wives learned more about Masonry in one evening than their husbands had ever told them. One fraternity, very different takes on secrecy.
