inspired by Fandango’s One Word Challenge (FOWC) of of 30 April 2021, mercurial.
When a lovesick young scholar was dumped,
His performance in Math classes slumped,
No less than mercurial,
Computing factorial,
But subtracting things just left him stumped.

He should have some pi.

Lovesick or not, my maths was never any good in the first place! When I passed exams I was always certain my results had been mixed up with someone else’s.

I can relate to that, It’s like saying computing is easy or the block editor is really simple to use – when clearly, so many people think they’re not. Oh the times I’ve felt like hitting my head against a brick wall when trying to explain a simple procedure… for the umpteenth time!
