As he sanguinely followed convention,
Captain stood on the bridge to attention,
With his stiff upper lip,
He went down with his ship.
As he, stoic, began his descention!
Was scurrying for me dectionary here. Apparently, sanguinely is a bona fide adverb. but the less said about descention, the better!
