In 2016, I suffered a stroke which changed my life. Overnight, I went from being an avid cyclist who designed IT systems in both London and New York, to being paralysed down one side and hardly able to walk. Needing to re-invent myself, I taught myself to type once more, one-fingered, and began to write, something I still enjoy to this day. Currently, I am working on my second novel, and tinker with short stories and limericks on the side. I live peacefully in a small, rural corner of southern England. I'm divorced with a grown / flown daughter.
