inspired by Fandango’s One Word Challenge (FOWC) of 14 September 2022, transit.
Sent my daughter out, down to the shops,
For some bread and a bottle of pop,
To my great indignation,
It got lost in translation
And she came home with fourteen pork chops.

Fry them in butter and fresh sage. Yum!

I haven’t had a pork chop for years! I’m not big on meat anyway now and even less on pork. But I could never stand sage anyway!

Mrs B makes sage and onion stuffing to have with her Christmas lunch and… just ugh!

What’s funny is, it is literally the only time I can remember using sage in my cooking. We had a small plant of it in the garden briefly and the recipe coincided. I liked it well enough though.
