I’m going with D because both words have the same etymology root. But that’s a guess.

Yes I kind of got to it by eliminating the other three. I wouldn’t have played it, though, far too risky. You’re correct btw.
I think I have heard of a separate drink called benedictine, though I may be confusing with nectarine.

Benedictine is nice on a cold evening.

C? Yes I am guessing these

Nope. D. I got it by eliminating b & c straight away, because they are famous orders so I felt I should have heard of it. Benedictine, I thought was a different drink altogether, Misky says she’s tried it. But I suspect we were all guessing at this one.

Chartreuse, certainly. I’ve been to Chartres, it has a famous cathedral. It’s only 45 mins out of Paris. Chartreuse = of Chartres (feminine).

Franciscan my head went to France but that would have been too easy 😁
Chartres I’ll put that on my travel list as Paris is due to be seen again hopefully next year

Ah now I knew Franciscans were formed by Francis of Assisi, so that gives them their name. I can’t remember Charters,I must admit, but I know I stayed there.
