We had a day out in nearby Southampton today and on the way home, stopped at Puttles Bridge, near Brockenhurst in the New Forest. It’s a stream, no more than 6″-12″, popular locally with parents and toddlers, especially. And us. In 30º+ temperatures we spent an hour just dangling our feet in the icy water, and viewing the world through reflections.
I even managed to get up off the ground, for once, unaided!

What a lovely way to spend the day. ❤️

It was. Southampton was impromptu but I kinda got around. She left me in the café when she walked around Ikea, but then the café is the best part of Ikea!

I avoid them, I’m not so hot on Swedish meatballs but I always liked beef meatballs and pasta.
And last time they did something not very nice to my guts 🙂

Lucky you. Looks peaceful and lovely to spend a day like that.✨
I just opened wordpress after seeing Manchester United get battered 4-0 in London. 🥲

I noticed that Everton were P2L2. It’s a blinding place, buddy. Where I come from is 400km away and I’ve lived in several places in the UK, but this was the area I fell in love with.

It was great after being in the city. And afterwards we managed to find an ice cream van a few miles away, in one of their “proper” picnic areas..
