A Yorkshireman, bred through and through,
Went to London to seek pastures new,
Got a startling reaction,
Like he’d made an infraction,
When he questionned a stranger, “‘ow do?”
Mister Bump 
Or when a south-easterner says ah-write and doesn’t really what to hear if you’re alright or not.

… and yet unexpectedly helpful when you’re in the pinch. Like during lockdown, people offered to fetch Rx at the chemist, or do shopping. Lots of food donations made locally too as unemployment because an issue here for many.
