This is my response to this week’s Flashback Track Friday prompt, where I chose to write the song Dancing in the Dark from the week’s featured album, Bruce Springsteen’s Born in the USA.
In my youth, I’d club straight from the bar,
Where I’d jive, having drunk a few jars,
In the midst of my strut,
One time power got cut,
And the last thing I saw that night… stars.
I’ve done that sans benefit of tipple!

so far. I’m lucky that I don’t fall often. Last time was putting the chickens to bed, because it was uneven. But also soft ground,of course.
But it happens to clients all the time. I say things like “you were fortunate” but at the same time I’m aware that a lot of elderly peoplestart their decline with a fall.

It’s good to hear that you don’t fall often. You’re right about elderly falling.
