My poor missus, in labour, was sore,
So they brought gas and air to the fore,
I became very tense,
When she stopped making sense,
Just said, “Shut up and give me some more”.

I was scarred for life by labour. She didn’t half whine. The baby, too!

And it took so bloody long – I had to go for a Burger King halfway through, and I missed the soccer.
