inspired by Fandango’s One Word Challenge (FOWC) of 31 December 2021, brilliant.
My best friend had a lurcher named Soot,
Such a good team, they entered at Crufts,
While the handler was brilliant,
The dog wasn’t resilient,
And he pissed on the judge’s right foot.

One of our dogs did that 😁

do they get marked down for it? I mean, surely it can’t be helped?

No it was quite deliberate and we were asked to leave 😞

Funny and educational. Me ‘n’ Dauphy didn’t know there was a wrong foot to piss on. Pettiquete is so complicated.

Have you seen some of those women? They have legs like tree trunks, so it may have been a simple misunderstanding?
Naw, Eddie ( the little lamb) would just drag you through the course to finish quickly and enjoy himself madly while doing so 🙂

Legs like tree trunks, huh? Maybe we should have got a dog.

I’m glad you enjoyed it, I generally just think, the funnier the better. I must admit I hadn’t seen your blog before but yes, I know Ingrid and a few of the other serious poets.
Doing these limericks is a great warm-up for my brain – they come live at 8 AM my time, so ideal. Happy New Year to you, too.
