Here’s another photo, this tim e with their “cubist” effect.
You can tell what it was originally, right? I mean, I’m assuming you can all see a darned site more detail than I can! It was a gnarly old tree. I didn’t publish it last week because I thought it looked a bit flat, that I didn’t capture enough detail, but it processed nicely, I think.
It can pass as a Picasso!

I’m still very impressed with it. This could well be something I lost hours to!

It is amazing what we can do with a bit of photoshopping!

The original looks like Switzerland with the mountainous sky peeking in the background
The textures of your recreation are illuminating 😊

I got some amazing photos in Switzerland. I should try one of them at lunchtime. Geneva is very “French”, I felt at home there.

I loved Bern because it felt “German” to me
Lucerne is a fabulous tucked away city too
You should by the way!

I went to Geneva in search of a cuckoo clock for my dad which I ended buying in Lucerne
Geneva is very picturesque 😁

We stayed mostly around the lake – Lausanne, Montreux etc. but we ventured in to visit some of the mountains.

I’ve heard Montreaux is very picturesque

It’s very posh. Queen recorded there and, if you had a choice, it’s no wonder.

Actually do you use Windows? The deal might still be on.

Nope. We don’t use Windows. Fully Linux.

The next effect sorta takes the gnarliness out of it. I like!

The gnarliness was what I tried to capture, originally, but when I looked at the image, I just saw a tree.

You are turning into a true artist. Fun isn’t it? I like what it did to the tree, but It still kept enough shape to know
what it is and I like the mountainous one too. Keep pressing those buttons, just no red ones. 🙂

The mountain one was really good, I thought. It’s nice because it gives the photo a new lease of life.

I love using digital art filters – they can be such fun to use, and for me they can liven up the most boring image… not that any of your images are boring of course! 🙂

I normally use just standard filters to straighten or crop but I read that these filters were available, so started playing
