This photo looked suspiciously like a place I know in the New Forest. They have Reds there, too, although mostly Fallow and Sika. I went deer stalking one day (with my camera).
The point I wanted to make with the post was that the deer are the real owners of the land. Nobody commented to that effect but perhaps that was just too obvious.
