Photograph of a Koala bear

inspired by Fandango’s One Word Challenge (FOWC) of 22 November 2021, skyline.

For the planet he cared not a jot,
Earth on fire as the weather grew hot,
As the skyline glowed red,
And the wildlife fell, dead,
He would smile and say, “Hi there, I’m Scott”.

Sorry, I like to keep these things light but could not resist today. I’ll post a smile later.

      1. We had a wet 2020/2021 summer and we’re having a very wet spring. So there’s heaps of growth. But whether it will all dry out over summer I don’t know. As to what burned in that awful summer, I don’t know what percentage has recovered.

    1. It’s funny. I was told the other week about hailstones big enough to cause enough damage to cars, that the cars are written off. And these people can’t work out 2 + 2.

Actually, the one thing it isn’t, is funny.

            1. Actually, the more I think about it, the angrier I get. This pandemic is nothing compared to what happened, and nobody gives a stuff. The most upset people get is that some smoke drifts in and spoils the tennis. Grrrr.

  1. How can you look at that little face and not care? No souls. Hollowed-eyed greedy monsters that as long as their
pockets are filled care nothing for the rest of the world. It broke my heart when I watched those fires. All I thought is
where will they go? A lot of people tried to help but they could only do so much the damage was so severe.
