That 28-day thing is very woolly, but how else do you do it?
I contacted the ONS at one stage, suggesting that vaccinated/unvaccinated should play a part, but they explained that the only info they get is what’s written on the death certificate. So very little information is passed to the number-crunchers. I suspect covid is, like, a checkbox.
