inspired by Fandango’s One Word Challenge (FOWC) of 21 October 2021, regurgitate.
A mathematician of note,
Learned his nineteen times table by rote,
He hit 1,558,
And in cruel twist of fate,
His head exploded.
And in answer to your question, of course it does!
19 x 82 =1,558

Mathematically brilliant. You have wonderful maths skills to my friend!

the math is often better than the poems!

I think I’d have to pontificate that. Yes, I’d prevaricate. And I’d be afraid therre’d be a better alternate.
Oh, but there’s a thin division ‘tween love and hate 🤣

don’t tell anyone but there are sites that will help with rhymes. But I never found one that was perfect, so over time I’ve come to rely on myself. Plus they don’t actually construct the poem. Can’t get the pretenders out of my head now!

See I love word play and rhyming and of course alliteration because it challenges the brain and it’s creative game
Your word prevaricate more than aced the dare!

I cringed when I hear people saying they are perfectionists because I think well what does that make me? 😂😂to me it’s very arrogant to think one is perfect or has perfect tendencies

Brilliant limerick. And… you will be pleased to know that by leaving the last line unrhymed you sent my head off on a mad scramble for words that may be relevant that rhyme with note. PING! Asymptote…a word I am sure I haven’t seen or heard since high school. So I went and looked it up. You see! You are promoting maths exploration through limericks. I’m sure there’s money in that.

you’re dead right asymptote was definately (maybe) Maths or Chemistry, and I dropped chem at 16.
No, it’s something to do with graphs, isn’t it? No good, I’ll have to look it up 🙂
