inspired by Fandango’s One Word Challenge (FOWC) of 2 February 2021, propensity. I read the word right, this time! (though I didn’t actually use it, but you get the drift…)
An entitled young schoolboy called Fred,
Insisted on cheese in his bread,
There was such a palaver,
When he found that his father,
Had applied peanut butter instead
😂I’ll eat cheese with most things but don’t fancy it with peanut butter…

Your comment reminded me of the lunch my husband took to school every single day as a child. Three sandwiches, a bologna, a cheese and a pbandj.

Yuck! peanut butter should never go in bread! Another great limerick though well done.

Actually I don’t think I ever had it in bread, but I do like it on toast (but not with cheese!) But isn’t that a favourite over in the US?

Yes peanut butter and jelly (jam) is the top sandwich filler in the US.
Not for me. My only use is for flavouring Indian and Chinese dishes like Satay.
