inspired by Fandango’s One Word Challenge (FOWC) of 29 January 2021, drive.

He took aim at the green up ahead,
But the hole he had sadly misread,
His drive not so precise,
Off the fairway, with slice,
And caught one bemused soul on the head!

Hahaha…been there, almost done that. When I first learned to play golf I was really wild with not knowing where the ball was going. It was dangerous to be in front of me. 😁

I got hit by a golf ball once. My own stupid fault for not standing out of the way. Fortunately I saw it coming and swung the bag around to take the impact.
