Funnily enough I wasn’t really aware of disco at the time although like a lot now. There was so much about sexuality which, at twelve, I had no clue.

I suppose it’s like poetry, you can make it as straightforward or as abstract as you like, and only the author knows. In fact if you look at a lot of song lyrics, just written down, I find them painfully bad.

Some lyrics I agree but like The Beatles, Paul Simon, Bernie Taupin and Elton John, Billy Joel I think their lyrics tell a story
