Gone Sour

This is a tweak of a limerick I first published almost five years ago. I thought I’d re-air it.

Mr Sweet, who made canine cuisine,
Got sucked into the mincine machine,
He was chopped up and ground,
Then deliciously browned,
And once cooked, turned the dog food bright green.

Divorced, grown/flown daughter. In life, I designed IT systems, taking a career break as a bicycle mechanic, until interrupted by a stroke in 2016, aged 48.
