Unfortunately… or fortunately… I live nowhere near. I’ll settle for taking my brolly with me.

Oh I see. I thought you were boasting of having sunny weather while everyone else was facing rain ☔️

It’s not too ugly here. Bit of sunshine slipping through the drizzle. Good morning, B. We are a house divided here: England 1 Denmark 0.

Oh yes. I’d forgotten about that.
I love how the whole of the UK is wet weather, yet according to the weathermap there is a single chink, and of all places, it’s over Hull.

I can’t recall ever visiting Hull. Ever. What’s in Hull, besides sunshine?

I went once – interviewed for university. There was a bloody great fish-canning factory and it stank!

I bloody knew it.

At last there is a reason for being in Hull (apart from the fishy smell).

Lest we forget:
Blackadder: I leapt on the opportunity to test you. I asked if he’d been to one of the great universities: Oxford, Cambridge, Hull.

We’ve got more than our share of sun here in NY and most of the US. We’re in the middle of a record-breaking heatwave which is not just HOT … it’s bloody dangerous. We are staying inside until the wave passes and praying we don’t lose power. No power = no AC! 🔥
Greetings, all! 🙋🏼♀️

That’s very fortunate. The weather here has been brutal, definitely not feeling like summer.

No it’s not been good here either, but, you know, still summer. Sunshine and showers, but noticeably cooler.

Hull? I’ve only been to London, Bath, Stone Henge and up
North in Edinburgh and Aberdeen

Hull’s maybe halfway between London and Edinburgh, but on the coast. It’s lovely round there but I don’t think Hull itself is (I only went once). It used to have a big fish-canning factory (and associated smell!) but I think that closed down. Now, its claim to fame is as a ferry port. To Rotterdam.
