A and B weren’t empires at that time, Russia was but Albania borders Greece so probably not under Russian influence, which leaves Turkey, and my brain is too pea- sized to recollect all of Turkey’s long history. Wasn’t Turkey Ottoman at that time. Maybe not. Heck I don’t know.

It was Turkey, but I have never heard of the Turkish Empire. I only ever heard of the Ottoman Empire, which ansol,utely was centred in Turkey. Because it all folded after WWI

I’m confused. My immediate answer was Ottoman and I still think that’s right but it’s not one of the choices. I think in 1912 Turkey was Ottoman so I’m taking a gamble and going with Turkey

I think they used the word Turkish precisely to confuse. My answer would have been Ottoman, too. But I also know that Ottoman was synonymous with Turkey.
