It was so bad last night, froze my ass,
Mighty cold, nearly turned on the gas,
Then today, seven o’clock,
I awoke with a shock,
My pet monkey had turned into brass.

I watch my energy meter click up more cost every week. Regardless of what I use. It’s daylight robbery. The jokes on them though, I froze my payments they will get no more from me!

I’m running the log burner rather than the central heating because it’s cheaper. But the burner does not go on until the evening so I am sitting with 3 layers of clothes on!
