I know nothing about horses so I’m thinking as I go along. This sounds like it could be some kind of joint. I’m ruling out A & B; just doesn’t seem logical. Still not 100% sure but sounds like it should be C – on the leg.

Well, I was, in my youth, I had a horse named Cricket, she was 25 when I got her, and didn’t have her long, but it was a wonderful experience! 😉
