When I left my first job, at a bank,
Saw my reference, and then my heart sank,
In the form, it enquired,
Simply, “Would you re-hire?”,
They’d suspiciously left that space blank.

LOL! When I left my first job, my reference said that I was usually good natured and happy. No mention of how I performed the job. Completely useless letter.
