Another Millionaire question.
Value:
£500k!
Question:
Which of these German cities is not on the River Rhein?
Options:
A
Cologne
B
Düsseldorf
C
Hamburg
D
Koblenz
Just for fun… answer below.
I shall say with some force,
That it’s Hamburg of course.
I’ve been to three of the four, so know that Hamburg lies on the Elbe. The Rhine/Rhein/Rijn is some way to the west, emptying into the North Sea through Rotterdam (ish).
You Hamburgaler.

Heidelberg might be my favourite.

never been there. I went to Hamburg for a conference so got to look around a lot and enjoy it, but mostly I know only the extreme west of Germany (where I cycled). I did however go to the Rhineland on a school trip aged about thirteen. That’s how I know Koln ands Koblenz.

Some of them are strange, aren’t they? I thought it was simple, for such a high value. But worth noting that the guy on the show walked away from it. He was obviously brainy to have come this far.

Yep, I once knew the millionaire question to the astonishment of hubby. I’d read it in a fiction book

There’s a well-known place in Koblenz called Deutsch Eck (I think Eck is corner) where the Rhine and then Moselle meet.
You’d have been well-gutted to have lost all that dosh.
