Bite Size

I saw a few serious poetry challenges going on in April, so deliberately timed my strictly amateur haiku for May in order to avoid clashing.

What can I say? Most poetry leaves me indifferent, but a very small amount leaves me feeling like a Michelin-starred chef just prepared a sumptuous meal.

Exquisite haiku,
Mouthwatering hors d’oeuvres, but
Spare me your banquet.
