I was always worried about that with my daughter splitting us, in that reaspect. Wife was always closer, I was portrayed as the orge. When all the shit went down with daughter, I was afraid of it happening then but actually it drove us closer. Might still happen. She’s in contact, I’m not. But I can see a rift opening up when daughter gets married, say, and I want nothing to do with it.

It’s difficult, my kids have tried all kinds of things to make my husband and I break up. The old divide and conquer routine, but my first loyalty is always to my husband.

I can’t watch the news right now. It’s making a visual imprint on my dreams, and they’re horrific. I can listen to the news okay though.

It’s the visuals on telly that worm into my dreams. I avoided “watching” news yesterday, and slept much better. I can read about it, no problem. For me, it’s the visual coverage.
