An unfortunate fellow called Pete,
Got run over while crossing the street,
Spent the next year in traction,
To his wife’s satisfaction,
As she found life without him complete.

    • It was difficult to get beyond schoolboy level, I found. In English I can maybe find a couplet of words that might fit, and build a poem around them, mt breadth of French is much smaller.. I ight be able to pick the correct word to use in a conversation, but just thinking of two words that might “fit” together was more difficult.
