My partner in crime on Songshine Sounds, KK, posted this mellow John Denver track yesterday. I mean to repost but I got caught up in my own travel arrangements.
I remember John Denver mainly just for being such an easy listen. I guess he was much bigge in the USA but we got him here, without checking I think his biggest hit was Annie’s Song.
Still sounds silky smooth.

Whether or not there’s sunshine where you are in the world this Sunday, we hope you’ll enjoy a sunny track, and that it uplifts your spirit.
Perhaps no song expresses the power of a sunny day more than American singer-songwriterJohn Denver’s “Sunshine on My Shoulders.” The song was originally released in 1971 onPoems, Prayers & Promises, and went to number one on theBillboardHot 100chart in the U.S. in early 1974.
There’s been little sunshine here in Munich so far this summer, and so this song just felt right today as I travel towards sunnier places. Enjoy!
Not “Country Road”? That’s the one that sticks annoying in my head for days after hearing it again.
