You all know that rap isn’t my thing, right?

But the nice thing I like about this is the message. While it’s not how I’d choose to express my feelings, the guy’s views themselves are pretty sound.

If you’re anything like us, you’re missing your regular drip of live music to keep you going. Luckily, lots of mini-concerts are still happening online, and we can tune into to get an intimate musical fix.


As we approach the holiday Juneteenth which celebrates the emancipation of the final slaves in Galveston, Texas on June 19th, 1865, I wanted to feature some concerts this month that address important social issues, such as this NPR Tiny Desk Concert that took place in the White House in October of 2016.
