inspired by Fandango’s One Word Challenge (FOWC) of of 2 May 2021, corridor.

As I stepped through Corridors of Power,
I encountered an ivory tower.
Where I there met a minister,
Who struck me as sinister,
As he spouted out views somewhat sour.

I had in mind a nonsense poem when I wrote this, Lewis Carrol, rabbit glances at watch etc. but I ended up with something slightly more real-life.
