While enjoying occasion auspicious,
He kept drinking all night, repetitious,
There was no way to tell,
Why he then felt unwell,
But those ten pints of beer looked suspicious

When I was a bartender I’d watch people drink until they were sick and then go right back to drinking again. I’d stop cut the flow but other bartenders would pour them more. Its so silly get so drunk.
Great funny limerick, yes ten pints would make everyone feel unwell!

I have quite fond memories of being drunk, hence the frequency of these silly poems, but I’ve seen it taken to excess, too.
