When my eyesight was still good, I was a bit of an amateur photographer. This is one of mine.

We went to Jersey for the weekend when we were not long married. This is a lighthouse right on the south-west corner, called Corbieres Point. This type of rocky seashore was always my favourite. This was taken by a camera which was among the first generation of digital cameras – a whopping 3MP. Compare that to the camera on your phone!

Lovely. When we ran an AirBNB here, we had one guest who was a doctor who had a home there. He and his son were touring colleges. Bunch of fun stories of their experiences.

Jersey’s a very exclusive place, I think they are very strict on letting people live there from outside. It was a weird place in that there were so many supercars there yet the speed limit was 40mph all over the island!

That’s a good bit of car parking in the photo!
