inspired by Fandango’s One Word Challenge (FOWC) of 17 December 2020, impetuous.
In attempting to hurry the sale,
Ship’s captain left port in a gale,
His decision impetuous,
To Sail waters tempestuous,
Sealed his fate in a watery gaol.

thanks. It’s funny, People seem to. I’m not sure why but my stats have gone up since I started trying them. One of the plusses of doing them is that they provide a nice short response to the prompts – I don’t think anybody would bother if my posts took 10 minutes to read through.

Always try to keep blog stories short- I know because when I read other blogs as well, you just don’t have time for more than a few hundred words at best.

No. I have infrequently opened posts which my reader says would take an hour to read. And, of course, it make you wonder who exactly they’re writing for…
I think it’s especially true of prompt responses – if someone has 20 responses they want to read, they’re not going to spend more than a few minutes on each.

That’s a clever one for the image and prompts. I applaud you sir, you are a limericking genius!

Yikes, poor captain! Very nice rhyme, though.
