I don’t think anything will change, by talking. I mean, it is not very different here but with the prevalence of guns in the US, I think it is only a matter of time before people (not just the police) come out shooting.

My best friendblives in Madison Wisconsin. She daren’t go out of herbhouse. She was married to a black man who was a wonderful person, but he died four years ago. He used tobtell her that this was going to happen. She herselfbgot called the most awful names for marrying a black man. Whore was one of them. Nit is horrific.

Sad but true, I think it is pretty inevitable, too. If you can’t trust the police, where does that leave you? I can see it going the same way that Northern Ireland did.

All I know is that my very best friend lives in terror not leaving her house. She lives alone with her dog, relying on phone conversations to keep her sane. It is absolutely horrific
