Fandango’s One Word Challenge (17 August 2020)

for Fandango’s One Word Challenge (FOWC), wanderlust.

Let’s try something a bit more offbeat today.

When looking for ideas for this post I quickly found that there is a Wanderlust Travek Magazine in the UK. I poked around their site for a bit and they have a few travel quizzes on there, of all things.

So here is one. Fifteen photographs of colourful buildings, and we have to guess what country they’re in (they give four options). That’s it – the only link is that they’re “colourful”.

So, do you want to have a try?

And how did I do?

Well, the number of buildings I knew was a big fat zero.

The number of buildings I guessed correctly, just on things like style of building etc.) was eight. Half marks. I bet you can do better!

No login or any other nonsense required, it is all totally anonymous. It’s just a bit of fun. And if you enjoyed that one, they have several on their site.

    • I knew England has a lot of beaches with beach huts, and those towers looked very Red Square. In fact, they might even be Red Square. A lot of those far-east-looking ones, I guessed at Japan, and about half were right. But, jeez…
Some of the other photos on their site were excellent, but I suppose it is a travel site…

      • I knew the Asian sites and guessed the English sites…and Russia! 😀

It is a beautiful site though, but doesn’t help my cabin fever. 😀
