4 days (thanks, F) Think backwards. The bucket fills with twice as much water each day, so if, on Day #5, it is full, it must have been half-full on Day #4, a quarter of Day #3, an eighth on Day #2, a sixteenth on Day #1 etc.

A frog! They live on a couple of islands in the Caribbean (Montserrat and Dominica) and are one of the world’s largest frogs.

thank you, anything I did not know already was easy enough to find on the web. If you look of standard “pub quiz” sites, a couple of these seem to be standard questions. I essentiAlly collated them.

In 1698, Emperor Peter I of Russia instituted a beard tax to bring Russian society in line with Western European models. To enforce the ban on beards, the tsar empowered police to forcibly and publicly shave those who refused to pay the tax.
